Armidale Acres provides acres of parkland for you to explore and enjoy. Our rural setting provides plenty of walks for you right at our doorstep. We also have a full sized tennis court, in ground swimming pool and BBQ Shelter for your enjoyment.

We are only 5 minutes from the UNE Sports facility which provides a range of other activities, including a fully equipped Gym, heated swimming pool, Sauna. Armidale is also the gateway to some magnificent gorge country and waterfalls.

Swimming Pool

Open 7.00am to 7.00pm daily
Swimming season in Armidale is generally from November to April

Some kids however seem to be inert to the cold!

Pool area (including BBQ) is complementary to guests and their guests.

Tennis Court

Tennis equipment, hire racquets and tennis balls are provided complementary to our guests.

There are lights on the court for night tennis however we request that night tennis is first booked and paid for $2/hr in order to cover electricity costs.

Grounds & Surrounds

Guests are welcome to wander our grounds and our large expanses are great for a game of cricket or rugby with the family. We do however request that children not be allowed into adjoining paddocks (locked gate) to avoid injury by livestock.

There are a number of fine bushwalks from Armidale Acres. Ask Mike or Lisa for directions when you are at reception.

Tablelands Gorge and Waterfall Country

Information on tourist drives and the location on the many spectacular waterfalls and gorges is available from reception. We recommend

Dangar's falls - 15 minutes drive from Armidale
